Immersive Interactive Quiz

In creating this exhibit, we found in our user interviews, client meetings, and findings from the previous years how exciting interaction is in a mainly spacial tradeshow. Keeping the users on their toes (literally), we mixed the physical and the digital to fully immerse the attendee in the quiz. At first the physical interaction was on the walls, but the client didn't love it so much... so we made some adjustments, moved things to the floor, and voila!

The client, Mirror Show Management, created a character named Tradeshow Traci about a year earlier to bring a cheeky fun to the trade show world, so it was obvious we had to include her. The quiz questions and persona characteristics were finalized after much user research and trial quizzes sent and taken by our attendee demographic: middle class female ages 35 - 55.

Behind the scenes of the impressive graphics, data was being crunched and analyzed in order to give the attendee the information on which persona they were. I aggregated the data overnight to create the below visuals; showing both individual results and how the collective group was trending. These graphics were rotated through on a large screen to excite and intrigue passerby's at the booth - so keeping the data clutter free and succinct was key.
